Thanksgiving Break

Noah has been pulling himself up for a few weeks now.  He does it quite proficiently and is now getting adventurous, only holding on with one hand.  I don't think it will be long before he starts trying to walk.  I think he is actually teething for real now.....

He had a lot of fun at Thanksgiving with all his various Grandma's and all the different toys they offer.  Soon we will have the tree up and diligently try to dissuade him from pulling it over.

Learning to Stand

Noah has been crawling for a while...trying to figure out how to get those things out of reach.  Well...Anne from daycare texted us the other day.  Noah figured out how to pull himself up and stand.  Now he does it so fast that you don't even see him do it.

Noah has taken to sticking his tongue out all the time....very cute :)
I had to plant some bulbs outside yesterday and Noah had to sit with me, so I set him up in his Jeep walker and let him play for a few minutes out in the cold with me.  He seemed to really enjoy himself.


Fussy Fidget Boy

Noah has been getting really fussy at daycare, and wanting to be held way more than normal.  Daycare brought up the possiblity of having a food allergy to milk.  I did remember that Noah had a hard time when I drank milk, so it doesn't really seem far-fetched.  We switched to the nasty smelling soy formula (gag).  He did a ton better on it at first, although iti made him so constipated we ended up in the doctor's office.  Poor little guy.

We're cutting out all dairy for a few weeks to see if this makes a difference.
On another note, Noah does not let you feed him.  He wants to do it himself.  The only way you get food into his mouth is if you use your finger.  Utensils are not allowed.  He really likes to drink out of a regular glass too.

He still wakes  up 1-2 times a night wanting a bottle.  I don't know what to do about that, but he didn't get a bottle last night for a long time, and as a result, I got no sleep.....

Nowen's Halloween Playdate

As said in the last post, Owen and Noah got together for a Halloween playdate.  They wrestled with their costumes on, both were bears for Halloween!  Owen's Mom took waaaay better pictures than we did, and we thought we'd share her's :)

Halloween!

Noah had a very busy weekend.  He got to see his great-grandparents he hasn't seen since Father's day.  The next day he had his last swim lesson and his first Trick or Treat!

For Halloween we stopped by the Girls (Brooke and Bailey's house), which are his favorite people.  We went Trick or Treating, saw all of Noah's other High School girlfriends before continuing on to his BFF Owen.  Owen had a bear outfit too!  They wrestled each other for a while and then both zonked out hard.
