Sliding, Swinging, and Woodchip Chewing

We took Noah to the playground earlier this week, and he had a great time.  He ran around, and found out the joys of sliding.  He thought the sliding was GREAT!  He'd no sooner get down the slide than turn around and run back to the steps and start his way back up to the slides..
He also tried out the monkey bars (a close second), some rock climbing, swings, and some woodchips.  He simply can't resist seeing what things taste like.  Too bad he won't have the same adventureous attitude when I put real food in front of him!

mmmm.....woodchips

Giggles

Noah and Owen had a playdate last weekend.  Everytime they see each other they act like they haven't seen each other in ages.  They gives hugs, and then go about their merry way.  They played outside for a while, then we all went inside to eat.  I do believe Noah typically hates pizza, but of course since we were eating it, he was all about it.
They wrestled for a while, then the best part of the evening when they were running up and down the hallway barefoot.  You could hear their little feet slapping the floor.  They'd get to the end of the hallway and just start giggling, and they would run back.  It was hysterical to listen to them, they obviously found it very fun.

Outside at Owen's house

Noah thought the glass front door was pretty awesome to run up to

Head Lock!  (I think this was actually supposed to be a hug...)

Some outdoor fun

Noah and I had some time the other night, so we went to a little playground and let him run around and play.  He really like the bus with the steering wheel.  His other favorite activity??  Picking dandelions!  Now if we can just figure out how to stop him from wanting to know what they taste like.

The dandelion is mine!

Grandma and Grandpa Mittan

Grandma and Grandpa Mittan are finally back from New Mexico and they brought a walking stick for Noah that my Dad (Grandpa Grumpy) made.  It was the perfect height and it had a duck that quacked on top.  Noah thought that was pretty fun, and he had a blast with it.  He walked around waving it and he couldn't have sent Noah a better gift :)
We then walked around the park with Grandma and Grandpa, down to the lake, and Noah got to swing on a bench swing.  Noah played in the water a little bit, it seemed like he couldn't decide if the iciness of the water was worth the fun of playing in the water.   He also learned how to call Grandpa "Papa"
After the walk, he puked in my hair (fruit loops...ew).  Fun day.

Noah's Tennis Swing

Noah has been working on his tennis swing.  He loves going to tennis practice, and insists on going on the tennis courts....of course the girls don't seem to mind!  He thinks he's such a big boy when he's out on the tennis courts!

Tennis Practice

Noah likes going to visit the tennis team after daycare when the weather is nice.  He usually tries to get on the courts to play or steal the ball-hoppers.  This day, he took a nice walk out and around the grass and met up with a puppy who he visited with for a while.
