South Haven

We made a trip to South Haven to let Noah play at the beach for a little while, and by this I mean less than an hour, as us "gingers" burn quickly, even with sunscreen.  Noah loved running around and playing with his shovel.  He wasn't too interested in the water at first, but he came around.  I have some pictures of me tossing him around, but I look 34 months pregnant, so I won't be sharing those, sorry :)
After the beach we took Noah for a quick walk down the South Haven Pier too :)

Underwater Room

We took Noah to an underwater room in a pond with fish swimming around.  He loved it, ran through it giggling, though at one point he saw a fish and then seemed mesmerized by his surroundings

Splashpad Fun

Noah had his first visit to a Splash pad, he wasn't too sure about it at first.  The water was pretty cold too, although after a while, he decided he wanted to spin around on one of the toys and he played with some of the water.
After that we headed to the nature center where there is an underwater bubble, and Noah ran around like a crazy man!  He absolutely loved it!

Sleeping Bear Dunes

The Smith's were nice enough to invite us along their trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes where we had a free condo for 2 nights, and the view was amazing!  All of them went to Sleeping Bear Dunes, the beach, the Empire Lighthouse (I had to work during this day).  Then later we went to the Maritime Museum, the beach briefly, Pyramid Point (which was a serious uphill hike in sandals).  The view from Pyramid Point is breathtaking, I highly recommend it if you're in the area.
It was also the Smith's Anniversary, so we all went out to dinner at the Boone Docks, at it was delicious. Noah and Owen seemed to keep each other pretty well entertained, and it was a great time!

1st Boat Ride!

We went up north for Memorial Day weekend, and Noah got to go on his first boat ride.  He has his own little lfie jacket, he didn't seem to mind wearing it at all.  He kept trying to steal my sunglasses, even though he had his own pair.  He refused to wear his own.  We cut short Memorial Day Weekend as we had big storms that knocked out power to our house, so we had to tend to a flooded basement.
