Potter Park Zoo

After a busy weekend, we still had a busy Monday.  I decided to take Noah to Potter Park Zoo in Lansing.  He got to ride a camel and a pony!  They have a bird house there, filled with hundreds of parakeets, which you can buy seed sticks for to feed them. Well...Noah held out the stick and birds obviously landed on him to eat, and Noah started screaming bloody murder.  He did not like that at all, it really scared him.
He also liked one display that had tamarins and a bunch of exotic birds running around.  He really, really liked the spotted turtle.  In the big cats house, he didn't seem to care about the lion at all, but he got super excited to see a tiger, he went running to it.  I would have to say that his favorite part of the zoo was the petting zoo where he got to run around with the very docile goats, he was in heaven!  He thought that was about the best thing.  He was just so excited to see them and be able to touch them.
Noah was really excited to get to go in with the goats

pretty sure he visited every goat like 20 times

Fun with Papa Mittan

We took Noah down to visit his Great-Grandparents at Lake of the Woods.  Noah loves his "Papa" Mittan.  He likes Grandma too, but he reeeeally like Papa.  He ate dinner like a big boy at the table and then went for a walk down to the lake.  He went swimming a little bit too, but when Grandma left to go clean up, Noah noticed, and was none too happy that she left him at the beach.

Three Oaks

I took Noah down to Three Oaks for a day visit last Saturday.  He loves the swing, and Grandma Tammy found a wooden tiger for Noah to play on.  He of course loved running around wreaking havoc, and playing with Tasha.  He also stopped to smell some flowers :)

Impression 5

Jess and I took the boys back to Impression 5 so thatt they could play in the toddler room, and OF COURSE, the water table.  I'm pretty sure both boys would be pretty content to spend the whole day in the water table room.  Noah was much more active in there this time around.  The play gym got a lot more attention this time around, however, Noah still would not walk on the clear plexiglass.  He just wasn't too sure about that.  When we left, the boys started giggling in the car, hysterically.  That went on for about 5-10 minutes before both of them passed out.

Noah was definitely ready for the water table room

Owen playing in the waterfall, he didn't want to leave this spot.

They had new smocks this time around, a LOT more effective than the raincoats

Noah really liked eating the fish

Noah really liked hanging out on the slide.

Fun at Owen's

One very warm night we went to visit the Smith's and have some quality playtime with Owen.  They had a lot of fun on the tractor, and the usual running up and down the hall.  Then Noah decided to be very, very naughty and shove Owen without any provocation.  It was not at all nice.  I'm assuming he learned that little gem from daycare  :(

Owen was having fun while Noah worked out

And Noah pinching poor Owen for getting on the tractor in front of him.  This is when Noah's behavior started going south :(

Both of the kids said "Cheese", however Noah just looks baffled.
