End Days of Fall

Ryan took Noah for a walk down at the Rivers Bend, then they came back and got me and we repeated the walk a few hours later.  Turns out, Noah is kind of a nature boy, and really enjoys going out for walks.  Ryan was trying to show Noah all the different kinds of trees.  Of course we stopped and let him swing, and on the return route, we took the river boardwalk.  Noah loves to look out at the river.  Earlier in the day he kept making Ryan stop so he could say "hello" to the geese in the river.

Noah loved going on the walk, didn't act up one time!

Excited to go play, and wanting down to swing

Noah loved the walk, he's getting a little cold by this point.

Family Fun Night

Noah's school has a family fun night for Halloween where all the kids dress up and go trick-or-treating and get to do crafts and games.  Noah particularly enjoyed the craft section, he loved putting eyes onto his pumpkin cut-out.  Noah's friend Owen even came and they played in the gym for a while.  Noah would get frustrated because everytime he fell down he couldn't get back up with his costume on!

one of the rare moments that we got the hood on, it didn't fit his head anyway :)

Boo at the Zoo

Potter Park Zoo had a "Boo at the Zoo" day this weekend.  Noah got together with his buddy Owen and Owen's cousin Chloe for a day at the zoo.  There was a TON of people there, Noah was about the only kid not in a costume too.  It ended up being a beautiful day, however Noah's time limit in a zoo is about 1.5 hours exactly.  After that, he gets really cranky.

Fall in West Branch

The weekend we ended up going north, it was rainy, cold, and generally unpleasant except for of course, the last day. Noah got to go to a deer park and feed a few deer, however, he much preferred swinging. I think he'd swing all day if we'd let him. He also finally got to go outside on the "nice" day. He loves Grandma Marci's cement turtles. He LOVES them.
