Splish Splash!

I took Noah to a splash pad this past weekend.  I wasn't sure how well he would like it, as last year he wasn't too sure about the icy cold water spraying at him.  He did seem to like it this year, but the water is spring fed so it is COLD.  I think it wore him out pretty quickly, but he enjoyed it nevertheless.

Noah was having a lot of fun

Mooville

We met the Smith's at Mooville to go to their FREE petting zoo and then to eat some ice cream.  Ice cream is the only sweet thing that Noah will eat, vanilla soft-serve ONLY.  Noah and Owen ran around looking at the cows, the goats, the pig, the chickens (which Noah chased round and round the henhouse), and the horse.   They finally played in the sandpit and Noah found a truck he really liked, and he pushed it up and down the small hill, repeatedly.

Noah's First Campout

Ryan wanted to camp out with Noah in our backyard.  Ryan got the tent out, and Noah helped unroll it and set it up.  I wasn't too sure Noah would actually sleep in the tent, but to my utter amazement, he slept all night there, not even waking up in the thunderstorm.

Noah was so excited.

South Haven

One Sunday afternoon we decided to take Noah over to Van Buren State Park just south of South Haven.  Noah hadn't been to the beach since we were in South Carolina, so I was wondering how he would act here.  The beach had a lot of rocks, so he couldn't play in the surf too much because of that, but he seemed to have fun nevertheless.

MSU Gardens

A few weeks ago Noah and I met up with one of my friends and her family at the MSU Children's Gardens in East Lansing.  Noah as usual, loved the place.  Kara's children seemed to like the gardens as well.
Noah loves this statue, he visits it every single time we come here.

Lockwood Playdate

Noah and Owen met up on Saturday for a playdate at Lockwood.  As usual, they had a blast with each other.  Running around, going up the rock wall (with a lot of help from the mom's), going down slides, chasing birds, scaring Mom by looking like he will fall off the playsets.  Yep, the usual.

what to do next?
