Amoxicillin

About 2 weeks ago, Noah started a fever.  I took him to urgent care, sat for 4 hours, they found nothing.  The next morning he had a higher fever and took him to his pediatrician.  No big deal.  They gave him amoxicillin.  He was okay for 4 days, then we woke up one morning to a nasty rash everywhere.  Another ER trip to make sure he was okay.  They said it was a reaction to amoxicillin.  They said to just give him Benedryl.  The next day, daycare called and told me the rash seemed to get worse.  Indeed.  At least this trip to the pediatricians office helped, it was a reaction to amoxicillin, but this time prescribed a steroid to help him fight off the rash. Boy, that helped!  Here's some lovely pictures of Noah's rash.
